Re: [RC] Coggins testing - Truman PrevattIt depends on the area. I think FL had about 20 reported cases last year. When I moved to Sarasota (FL) some years back they YMCA had a stable full of horses - about 30 - that were positive for EIA. They all seemed fine and healthy. The YMCA at that time gave riding lessons. Their facility was far enough from everything else that they didn't have a problem keeping them.It is real in some places. If someone didn't have an active Coggins on a horse - it would be a show stopper for me. Besides in FL you couldn't even move it without one. Truman Thekids18049@xxxxxxx wrote: Really. I think that's not a good reason to buy a horse if he's exactly what you're looking for. If you really feel that way, make up a contract that they will buy the horse back if he has the virus. -- “Since when have we Americans been expected to bow submissively to authority and speak with awe and reverence to those who represent us?” Justice William O.
