FW: [RC] re: WEF summary - Jim HollandSo what are you saying here, Bob? That the number of Board Members in AERC-I should reflect the percentage of members who participate in International? That because of “name recognition” or “financial situation”, or “personal time available” the “average” backyard horse member need not aspire to the board because they won’t get elected? (Would term limits remedy this?) That International participants want to be on the Board because it allows them to prevent AERC from dumping FEI? That International participants put their aspirations ahead of the welfare of the horse? Hmmm….do you think this might have some impact as to why AERC has not passed Horse Welfare rules? Inquiring minds want to know… ☺ Jim, Sun of Dimanche+, and Mahada Magic Richard T. BOD members, I guess I'm asking you..." First, any message must be sent to the Board of Directors and not to RC for the Board to take notice! Second, dissatisfaction with out an alternate solution is often times ignored as just plain bitching from the troops. Third, what can one expect when AERC-I is 7% of the total membership but is 58% of the Board?
