be nice to talk about some of the issues - ? horse fatalities and low completion
rates and treatments happen in AERC too. or do you consider that acceptible in
non-FEI rides? FEI is committed to protecting the sport which equates to
protecting the horse. Like it or not endurance is a sport which is pretty hard
on horses...
The
issues are the same. how to ask a horse to carry us many many miles without
harm. and some people even race. how to do so responsibly is a question for
everybody, at all levels of the sport.

First, any
message must be sent to the Board of Directors and not to RC for the Board
to take notice! Second, dissatisfaction with out an alternate solution is
often times ignored as just plain bitching from the troops. Third, what can
one expect when AERC-I is 7% of the total membership but is 58% of the
Board?
