Re: [RC] [RC] slaughter vs consumption - Barbara McCraryI have bought several horses in my lifetime that turned out to be the wrong horse for me, for one reason or the other. If I had committed myself to all of them for their lifetimes, I could not support them all. I did sell them to other people who found those particular horses were right for them. I used to think if I bought a horse, he would stay with me until he died, and then I found I had a horse that I could not ride because he had back problems and my life was in danger every time we faced a hill. He could not climb safely. I did sell him to a man who didn't have to climb hills with him. Anyway, to make a point, no one can possibly commit to a given horse for a lifetime unless that horse is perfect for that person. I just doesn't happen that way very often.Barbara ----- Original Message ----- From: "Raven" <iceponygoddess@xxxxxxxxx> To: "ridecamp" <ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, March 15, 2007 3:10 PM Subject: Re: [RC] [RC] slaughter vs consumption
