Hot, will advertise: "The ride will start no earlier than X:00 AM, and depend on the weather." With the earliest possible time listed. This allows, with no protest problems, the start to be adjusted 1 or 2 hours later if the day is cool, or start really early if it is going to be a really hot day It made sense to me to cut myself a little slack if strange weather happened.
