Last fall the perfect one was there, kind of terrain I can handle and my horse likes, so I entered the 50. At start time it was cold and windy, the horse would have been fine, she's a good girl, but I choose to drop out. I don't handle the cold very well any more. My excuse is that I used to get paid for riding in all kinds of weather, don't need to pay some one else while I suffer now, I want to ride for fun! Entered the LD that started later. Had a nice ride, finished TT, much nicer.. Maybe the right 50 will be there this year.
