Julie, I'm so sorry for your poor sick horse and for you and Bob too!  I 
hope he makes a quick and complete recovery.  I've been using "spot-on" 
or maybe it's "spot-off" as a tick preventative on my horse.  Is that 
the kind of tick preventative medicine you are referring to?
