RE: [RC] [RC] [RC] camping and generators Don't be haters - TeriJoe, can you expand on the last paragraph..... I am very interested. I have a marine battery that I would love to charge at a ride (I don't like using my truck battery, fear of it draining). I have an inverter but I have no idea how to recharge the battery with the cigarette lighter. As you can tell I am not electrical savay. I will forward the answer to my better half and he can figure it out. I used to use a small portable generator to recharge my batteries during the day, but I haven't used it in years. The battery easily holds for two nights of lights and furnace, and I have an inverter that lets me recharge it from the truck cigarette lighter plug if I need to. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
