Re: [RC] [RC] [RC] camping and generators Don't be haters - Joe LongTeri wrote:Joe, can you expand on the last paragraph..... I am very interested. I have a marine battery that I would love to charge at a ride (I don't like using my truck battery, fear of it draining). I have an inverter but I have no idea how to recharge the battery with the cigarette lighter. As you can tell I am not electrical savay. I will forward the answer to my better half and he can figure it out. It's the one I referred to in another post. It has a cord with a cigarette lighter plug on it, and an AC outlet on it. I crank the truck, plug it in, and plug the trailer's AC cord into it. If you're powering a low-power device with it you don't even need to crank the truck. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
