Wow! I just came back from the very neat
website www.wildaboutcats.org and I was
playing the different cougar sounds. My 6 year-old yellow lab was standing
outside my screen door listening for a moment, and then he ran off and
hid. As far as I know, he has never heard or seen a cougar, but I guess
some instinct told him to run so he wouldn't become lunch.
