Re: [RC] WEG distance - should it change? - Truman PrevattSeveral years ago when there were not three day rides in the SE, they BSF RM tried the format of a three day ride for a couple of years and dropped it because there was little interest in the third day - not enough to warrant the ware and tear on the workers, expense of the vets, etc. About three years ago we started to see a growth of 3 day rides. Last year the BSF RM added a third day and it was extremely popular. All our multiday rides seem to be popular and we have quite a several. I do expect it will, however, have some long range impact on our 100's. That does, however, remain to be seen.Why it didn't work 5 or 6 years ago but it works now - as you say go figure.
