RE: [RC] WEG distance - should it change? - David LeBlancTruman said: There have been a lot of RM's that have offered a 75 one year but didn't continue with it since it didn't pan out. When I looked at the distribution of distances - the 75 to 95 mile distance was not only flat over the last 10 years but if you ignore 2 day 100's it is the smallest category in riders. I don't know why we're different, but we have a lot of 75's up here in the NW, and it's popular. Good for the RM, since everyone's in by midnight. Maybe it's one of the reasons why we also have a lot of 100's - there's a way to make that step up, and see if you have any horse left after 75 miles. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
