Re: [RC] weed free - Barbara McCraryThank you for that statement! Personally, I become very tired of listening to the hysteria put forth that "MAN is the cause of all evil things and disasters of Nature." Of course the people who push this agenda apparently are outside of the group they call MAN. I do agree that man has made serious errors of judgment, such as planting ornamental plants that go wild and invade the natural wilderness, but I refuse to be blamed for all problems associated with Nature. Take for example...it is damaging to burn clippings in one's backyard because the smoke is polluting the air. But a natural wildfire started by lightning is very beneficial. Or imagine the air pollution caused by the eruption of a volcano. The ash that hangs in the air can change the climate of the entire earth for years. Try and blame MAN for the eruption of a volcano...Barbara ----- Original Message ----- From: "Eric Rueter" <Eric@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: "Steph Teeter" <stephteeter@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>; <ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, November 11, 2006 6:03 AM Subject: Re: [RC] weed free To deny that there are natural forces at work, and only blame humans and their activities is a very big error. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
