Re: [RC] long-beds V. short-beds and goosenecks - Laney HumphreyI have a no longer quite new (2001) GMC long bed and a Sundown LQ gooseneck. I'm kind of medium sized and I can get in between the two with care. I'm more likely to hit my head on the bottom of the gooseneck and than anything else. My spare and 2 propane tanks are mounted on the front of the gooseneck. BTW, it is possible to remove the spare while still hitched too!Laney Lucy Chaplin Trumbull wrote: Regarding my worry about space between tailgate and front of trailer with short V long-bed trucks, I'm getting varying responses - ranging from "no space problem at all", to "replace the tailgate with a net". =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
