My opinion? It will start with the prisoners, probably the child sex
offenders. They have to register anyway. Who is going to complain too loudly
about permanently I.D.'ing these guys? The ankle bracelets for the "at-home"
type prisoners aren't all the effective, stick a GPS trackable chip in 'em.
That technology isn't too far off.

You think this is scary ... how long before they pass a law requiring
microchips
in people?  Then they could track any time you enter a public building, or
ride
on a bus, train, or airplane.  They have two rationales to use:  terrorism
and
illegal immigration.
