[RC] foamy sweat - Barb PeckThis question comes up from time to time. One of the components in horse sweat is a protein that has surfactant (soapy) qualities - that's why it's foamy. It's a specific protein, that takes a while to build back up in the cell. So, so if the horse is sweating on a very regular basis, and depleteing it, the sweat will reflect this by how clear (or not) it is.
