Re: [RC] Ribbons - Barbara McCraryOne way to handle that is to put ALL your flags on clothes pins and state that at the briefing. I have never seen forestry flagging tied to clothes pins. Also, we use a two-color system....neon pink with white. The pink shows in the forest, the white shows at night. Clothes pins allow you to hang them and remove them much more quickly and to re-use them year after year.Barbara ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kristen A Fisher" <kskf@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: "'Ride Camp'" <ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, July 24, 2006 2:39 PM Subject: [RC] Ribbons 2 East TX rides are held in a National Forest. 90% of the flags in that forest are from logging - you have to be really careful not to follow logging flags or the woods will swallow you up! =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
