Re: [RC] Ribbons - Sharon LevasseurA little late but nonetheless... Most of our forestry flagging is either pink or orange, but it's ALL OVER the place. I bought checkerboard flagging in three colors for my new ride... white/red, white/yellow, and white/blue. In addition, they'll all be on clothes pins as previously stated. -Sharon L. Quoting Barbara McCrary <bigcreekranch@xxxxxxxxxxxx>: This brings to mind another idea. We found out in the past that some of our riders were color-blind. A happy solution was polka-dots! You can buy flagging from a catalog that offers different neon colors with black polka-dots. Boy, do those show up! Most, but not all, forestry flagging is either solid or striped. But polka-dots.....naaaah. Pipeline surveyors put out white, yellow and orange ribbons. The rides are usually marked with pink. Too bad if you're color-blind, you'll end up in the badlands endlessly circling, and no water to be found! Of course, at night, they'd ALL look the same color. :-O=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
