Re: [RC] Horse Management in Excessive Heat-dogs too - Tiffany D'VirgilioOur 14 year old beagle dove into the trash can for food and died from the heat. I was gone today when my hubby found him. It's been over 100 for a while. Just had given him a bath last week and was keeping the old man in the house, somehow he slipped out and died doing what he loved-eating trash. Trying to keeps dogs in and horses semi-cool, but obviously accidents can happen and the heat makes you pay. We're a sad family tonight. 14 years is a long time to spend with a dog. Cecil will be missed.Tiffany On Jul 18, 2006, at 3:16 PM, rides2far@xxxxxxxx wrote: I would like to hear other's ideas on this as well. N. Alabama is "on fire".
