I second this.  My mare got into the barn and into the beet pulp and 
choked.  Vet was able to get out quick and get it cleared quick and she 
was perfectly fine.  I immediately bought a grain bin with latches to 
ensure even if they do get into the barn they will never ever beable to 
get into dry beet pulp again.  That was a couple years ago and I haven't 
fed it wet or dry since because it was such a scare.  Maybe it is due to 
how fast a horse eats.  Those of you who can feed it dry without 
incident, are your horses real slow eaters?
