Re: [RC] horse beans - Karen Sullivan----- Original Message ----- From: "Barb Peck" <bpeck9191@xxxxxxxxxxxx> My Vet told me if the pee stream is comming out looking like a spray (as it comes out) then the horse may have a bean interferring (or inhibiting) the pee stream. I have a gelding for the first time in years and the whole apparatus somewhat confuses me.....some geldings have to spend in inordinate amount of time stretching out legs just so....then unfurling....then finally peeing.......I see other that don't even drop one tiny bit, but pee with whole apparatus tucked upside...these seem to spray more...can that be why they spray? What about the ones that pee on their front feet? Is this something they learned as youngsters to impress each other? Maybe Dr. Quackenbush can elaborate....
