A word of caution on testing your
forage. I have found individual horses to vary quite a bit in their
Se levels. I once had two stallions, pastured together ate 100% the
same, both endurance horses, and one tested way below normal, and the other
slightly above. I would suggest testing your horse. Susan can tell
you what an endurance horse should be.
We do not live in a Se deficient area,
our pellets and free choice minerals both contain Se, and I just tested a
horse that is 'dead center' normal, according to the old standards, but maybe a
little low for an endurance horse. Susan, help me out here
