BTW I should add, you won't bring everything you need or want. My friends have been doing this for 8+ years, I have been for 2+ years and we ALWAYS make a list of new stuff to bring on the next ride ;-)

If you look in the Endurance Handbook http://www.aerc.org/AERC_Rider_Handbook110303.asp [a fantastic resource BTW] you will see it says:  "you will find that you will require an alarming amount of equipment and supplies to camp with your horse"

 

The great thing about traveling with a horse trailer is that if you have room [which you usually do], you can bring it. Even if YOU don't end up needing it, maybe someone else in camp will, and inevitably you will be on the borrowing end at some point so it's not a bad idea to start with a karma surplus.

Thats about where my brain goes numb, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Also what first aid supplies do you guys keep with you? Thanks again.
