Aaron,
I read your post on RC.  I wouldn't pick an "average" size...My TB wears
an 80 and my Arab wore a 70.  To make things easy, Terry Wooley Howe
(PS) gives the winner a sheet of paper to mail back to her with 'specs' when
you win her BC.  (I got one on my TBred last year at Warner Springs--he 
wouldn't 
have fit into a 76...).  Not only does that prevent sizing issues, but she also
monongrams the horse's name on the blanket and then ships it to you.  Yes,
you get it after the ride, but as long as you announce that the person will be
getting an award blanket, there will be a huge applause.
