[RC] Save Our Trails (PS): 25-Milers 'rocked' - cynthia hamberg

Hi All:
I just got back from a wonderful ride up in Palmdale, CA.: "Save Our
Trails."  Jamie and Debbie put on a great ride, and dealt with some 
difficult weather to get the trail marked.  Thanks!  The best news was
when Dr. Fred Beasom told those of us who did the 25 LD that, "The 25-
milers were the best group of 25-milers I have seen in the past 20 years!"
Now, that was a compliment...There was only one non-completion on the LD (26 
starts). 
The 50-milers had over 30 starts with, I believe, 6 pulls (?).  It was a
beautiful day in the desert...Next year, more of us have to get out there and
support this ride.  I would love to see it double in size.

Mgrs.
