A lot of elderly foxhunters really swear by
the stirrups that have joints in the sides to alleviate knee and ankle pain. My
knees are not pristine. I first broke my kneecap when I was 4 years old and
years of indoor polo sealed the deal. I'm not sure if I like the jointed
stirrups or my easycare stirrups better, but I can sure feel the difference if I
use regular irons. Libby

Since there are many of us older than 30 doing this sport, a couple of us
were wondering what everyone does to alleviate knee pain. A friend is
doing her first 100 and she has knee pain at 40 miles. So...besides the
usual nasaids, etc. what to you all do?
