Having been riding in both, I must agree with Kat.  Changing to dry clothes is the only way to warm up.  mas

I beg to differ, wet is very different from cold and wet.   And your
body knows the difference too, since cold and wet can lead to
hypothermia much quicker than just wet.  In fact, cold and wet can lead
to hypothermia pretty damn quickly.  When it is cold, wet makes a much
bigger difference than it does when its not cold.

Warm and wet is just wet.  Cold and wet is, quite literally, freezing to
death. :)
