Re: [RC] Maybe shorter is better ;) - Laney HumphreyIn my mind, the ultimate proof that shorter is pretty gosh darned good is John Parke and his 2 Icelandics, Remington and Skoldur. (The horses are short, John isn't!) John has over 11,000 miles on his 2 trusty "ponies" and they are still going strong.Laney kazevedo@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx wrote: Our family just got a 14 hand Halfinger, and boy do I love riding him. He feels like a big horse when riding him, and I don't mind getting on and off either! He has a very big walk, but his trot is quite a bit slower than our 15 hand arab. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
