Heidi, that is so true from what I saw of this
horse at the NC 100 in 2003. Bev was waiting to go out from the post
midway hour long VC in basecamp. She had to hold Pal back from wanting to
leave early at the outtimers and get back out on the trail!!!
That impressed the hell out of me. That and
the fact that Pal had up until that ride done 11 100s with no pulls.
That's just not the record of a horse who doesn't
love what he does, partnered with a rider who doesn't love him!
