Re: [RC] guns - LindakIn the 1950's I went to a slaughter house and watched them shoot several steers behind the EAR with a 22 caliber rifle. (I remember asking the caliber) The animals dropped instantly. However, in a couple of cases the animal got back up and thrashed around and even bellowed. It was awful and I didn't eat meat for a year afterward. (Now I am avowed vegetarian and have been since 1989.) So my point is a small caliber gun will drop an animal, but not always kill it.From Linda-kHave a horse lovin' day!!! =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
