My one recurring thought about this whole thread is what on earth they do
about the deer and elk poop.  This time of year my entire barnyard looks
like a deer potty (mild winter this year, but most years it looks like an
elk potty, too) and I can hardly walk without stepping in it.  I always
just figured it's part of life, and learned to scrape my shoes...
