[RC] Arab and Arab crosses - mkrumlawI don't believe there is one *ultimate* endurance cross. A good horse is a good horse. There are quite a few breeds that have been bred for endurance and hauling their riders *into battle.* You also have to remember that some of these crosses you're mentioning have a large percentage of Arabian blood in the foundation lines to begin with so it's sort of like crossing an Arab with an Arab that's being called something else. We had a Half Arab that was part standardbred (trotter)and he was an amazing animal. Built like a tank, *was* a tank on trail, and went 4,000 miles before his first pull. Most of those miles were CTR because I was new to distance riding though he did have a good share of top 10's. I'd love to have that horse as a 4 year old again knowing what I know now.
