Aside from the usual (don't borrow other people's stuff/horses
without asking, clean up after yourself, close the gate..) one
thing I would really recommend is that all owners must post 
their phone numbers and vet/farrier numbers on their horse's
stall.  It's awful if another boarder is the only one in the 
barn and sees someone else's horse injured or colicing and
doesn't know who to call. A signed healthcare directive 
authorizing treatment (with guidelines - for example - yes/no 
to colic surgery) is also recommended in case the owner cannot
be reached.
