RE: [RC] Looking for a Halloween Costume Idea for my horse - Rae CallawayI remember helping a local show trainer get her juniors ready for a Halloween show once. These kids were very creative! Here are some of their costumes: Horse 1: tied a cardboard box around the horse and glued hay to the box. (also attached a rubber rat). Rider dressed as a cat Horse 2: draped head to hoof in a light blue translucent gausey material (cloud). Rider was an angel. Horse 3: dressed in a full body & head black sleezy. Blinking red eyeballs were attached to the sleezy at the eye holes. 3 foot bat wings were attached to the saddle. Rider was a vampire. Horse 4: bright red pom-pom nose was attached to the bridle. Puppy ears and a puppy tail also attached as was a red collar. Rider was the Grinch. Horse 5: dressed in purple/silver Arabian Native Costume class costume. Rider was Lady Godiva. Horse 6: black lace/green satin skirt attached to saddle (actually, a rump rug type of deal) Bright red lipstick and eyeliner/shadow drawn on face. Hooves were painted silver. Rider was a can-can girl/saloon dancer. Horse 7: a cardboard Santa sleigh was hung over the horse. Rider was Santa. Had a large laundry bag of "presents" sitting on the rump. Horse 8: decorated Holstein style, complete with large pink udder. Handler was dressed as a farmer, carried a milk bucket and a toddler who dressed as a calf.
