That has got to be one of the most mind-blowingly beautiful rides ever. Predictably, I managed to take tons of photos, most of them while moving, so then I had to go back and get rid of about 50% of them because they were blurry or I'd missed the subject totally. I rode with Judy Long and Nick Warhol and we had lots of fun and dawdled in a the back of the ride, so there aren't many pictures of anyone else - we never really *saw* anyone else... * * * The ride was won by Tracy Cary on a bay horse (apparently not her normal horse, although I know nothing about either horse) and BC went to Cathy Richardson and Fifi (who just won Tevis). There were 30 30-milers and 75 50-milers. Weather was in the 70s (bliss) and warm enough the night before the ride that I slept with the trailer door open and just the screen pulled. The mosquitos just next to camp were copious and mean.
