RE: [RC] [RC] [RC] Women's Group - Juli Jakub.I eat correctly, run and exercise. ;Any thoughts, suggestions from the experienced riders out there on a <br>>physical/mental/regime?<br>>Chris<br>><br>><br>><br>>=-=-=-=- Just my regime...I am new to the sport also, but this is a toned down plan from when I broke, exercised , and breezed TB's and from my eventing days....I use to have to work out a lot more especially weight training to keep strong to hold those TB's! Run: 3 to 5 miles every other day...when i feel up to it and have time I will do a longer run I do Tae Bo on days I do not run and I also do at least 100 to 200 crunces everyday split up over the day...some in the morning, some at night I also do upper body training in a gym and work on the climbing wall. But most important I try to do yoga a few times a week to keep stretched and supple and balanced Other activities that help is I dance ( swing, lindy, tango, contra) which is a fun and great way to get a workout. I hike with my dogs and living in the Adirondacks that is lots of up and down hills and I walk everywhere I can instead of driving...speaking of I have to go do my crunches!!
