Re: [RC] Hoof Boots + Gaits - Truman PrevattI've seen some TWH trainers change the gait from a broken lateral to broken diagonal - stepping pace to fox trot - by taping a 1 inch square piece of lead tape to the appropriate feet. Don't discount the effect of weight - especially on a horse that has a tendency to be multiple gaited.Truman Linda Cowles wrote: The question you really need to ask is "is this gait modification brought on by added weight in the best long term interest of your horse." -- "If you want to make an apple pie from scratch, you must first create the universe." - Carl Sagan =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
