Fortunately he was ok. Horses can hurt themselves in the safest of situations. If one is concerned about a horse getting stuck under the trailer, why not rig something (out of plywood for instance) to block the space under the trailer & around the tires? It wouldn't take much work to build & would provide peace of mind. As I noted in my last post, I've been tying to the trailer for years. I've not had a problem, but some of the newer trailers have a lot of space under them and a lot of sharp edges. When we get around to replacing our ancient trailer, I do plan on doing something to block that space. A horse on a hi-tie could get their legs under the trailer as well as one tied to the trailer. In fact, so could a horse in a corral if the corral is attached to the trailer. ~Nicole Zephyr Arabians http://www.zephyrarabians.com KattWmn Web Design http://www.kattwmn.com =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
