Re: [RC] Prineville Wreck..Again - John TeeterI had forgotten that amber's writing style has, in the past, proven to be a bit too provocative for the sensibilities of some on this list. Rather than open the door to this next level of discussion, I think it best that Amber send her account to those that may request it of her. It would, if sent through the main list, cause numerous content filters to trigger which would end up with lots of extra messages (from the filters) in my inbox:) Of course, this kind of moderator/editorial censorship can be avoided if you keep the messages small. Note that small does not mean (eactly) short. Small has alot more to do with plainText.vs.HTML/RTF forms of email. Use plain text when you post to ridecamp whenever possible. Plain text will not have blue letters nor will it have bold or large/small fonts. It is just plain text. The size reduction is 2x-5x generally. jt. (p.s. this message is in plain text I think) At 10:55 AM 5/18/2005, apleg8'n wrote: Sigh, I am getting dozens of requests for my "Saga" on the Prineville Wreck. I sent a copy to Steph and John and Dear John found it worthy to send to the group. So in awhile hopefully it will be posted. It ain't gonna be what y'all think. After all the commotion on here as usual, this one is going to hopefully "END" it all with a dose of much needed humor. At least that is how I took it and believe me I am still plenty sore from it all, but as Candy said life goes on and it is what we make of it. I got my first ever pull because of this fiasco but I tried to make the best of it. I even appealed to the BOD to see if somehow I could still get a completion if for nothing else the freak show I entertained (or horrified) the rest of the riders with. Anyone want to vote for me after reading the story be my guest! It is in the hands of John now to post to the list. amber rackinfool <http://www.applegaitnendurancehorses.com>www.applegaitnendurancehorses.com =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
