One could just imagine the timing chaos that would be! And besides, a riderless horse barreling up that draw would have still caught a lot of people with no place to go.Admittedly, 200 starters is a scary idea, but hey, that's why they call it endurance. It teaches the LD'ers that they need to learn to control their horses.
