Exactly!!!!  The hydroplaning is not caused by the cruise.  The cruise merely inhibits your ability to regain control quickly when you start to hydroplane.  The cause of the hydroplaning is that most people drive too @#$%^&* fast for the roadway conditions.  So, Drive to Arrive, be alert and back off on the accelerator a bit.
