The comment was addressing the issue that the AERC database is not all that accurate - especially it seems for LD's prior to 1996. So don't put much stock on any conclusions you draw from the "early days" by looking at the numbers on the database.The second issue is the sport has undergone a lot of changes since the early days. Hell, it undergone a lot of changes since 1995. Just because "daddy didn't do it thisaway..........." ;-) . I sure hate to see another round of "LD bashing," it's too soon, it's out of cycle, and it's all been said before - a hundred times.
