[RC] moving up from CT to LD - JonniTruman posted to post below >>>I wouldn't put too much faith in that. I had quite a in the early 90's on my mare - none of them show up <<< Ericka Nelson wrote: i have looked at lifetime milage for some local riders here in the west. some of them have almost no LD miles, while they have 25,000 endurance miles.<<<< Hummm, I dunno Truman, I bet in the case of Dave Rabe, who only has 37 LD miles (total) listed in his over 31 THOUSAND miles of endurance, that is probably a pretty fair statement in the case of that high mileage rider. Talk to him, and he is one who likes to start them with a 50, and seems to prefer those multi-days. He took one of my horses on 3 50's within 3 weeks of the 5 week long XP2004 this last summer. Those were his first endurance rides. He had done one NATRC ride before that.
