You have to examine the logic behind the breeding
program. If the mating made sense, it does not matter where the animals
resided at the time of the mating.
We own 3 arabian mares where the stud was on the
premises. They are all quality animals etc. The goals of the
breeding program were met by the matings that produced them.
The same thing is done with dog breeding
programs.
