[RC] Rain gear, horse & human - KarenHere are some links for raingear. The first is for a rainslicker, they are nice for wearing in camp, or if you are caught in a heavy downpoor but heavy to ride in all day. They are good for putting on over your other stuff. I have found that if it is really raining and you are out in it all day, you are going to get wet. But, if you layer and choose the right kind of clothing you can still be comfortable. This one is reasonably priced and packs well on the back of a saddle.http://www.countrysupply.com/product.asp?sku=RBR16&dept=101&id=041339242072286220273967 This is one of my favorite products. I've used my horse rain sheets like this too many times to count, they are wonderful! Great for in camp and at vet checks, as they cover your horse with tack on. http://www.saddleshop.com/cgi-bin/shopper.exe?preadd=action&key=01-0422&reference=/cgi-bin/shopper.exe%3Fsearch%3Daction%26keywords%3Drain%26searchstart%3D0%26template%3DTemplates\SearchResult.html Here are links to places where you can get additional human clothing items. I have a pair of Goretex pants that are really great. They block the wind, rain and breathe -- and I can put them on over my riding tights. I stay comfortable in the rain, snow, freezing winds with these pants on. I love Cabelas, I just recently purchased a set of Goretex gloves from them that are wonderful, I can fill up water troughs in freezing temps and my hands stay dry and warm. They are insulated, so too warm for riding in on a regular basis but great around the barn in the winter. http://www.sierratradingpost.com http://www.cabelas.com/ http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/pod/standard-pod-wrapped.jhtml?id=0012318&navAction=jump&navCount=0&indexId=&parentId=&parentType=&rid=&_DARGS=%2Fcabelas%2Fen%2Fcommon%2Fcatalog%2Fpod-link.jhtml.1_A&_DAV=search Karen in NV =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
