For a first time outing, it went extremely smooth and was well attended (although I think we were especially lucky to have gone this year!!) Sunrise Ranch rides are going to be a fun addition to the XP family of rides I think. Our horses have given us a wonderful 6 week effort with Benji completing 300 miles of LSD. He's pretty much ready for a break and then another 50 before possibly a longer distance at the May Lost Juniper ride. Great Santini completed 200 miles with 3 top 10s (and one very impatient tail ender at Warner Springs:). And Rhett did 200 miles with 2 BCs, 2 first place, 1 second and 1 third place finish. It has been a wonderful adventure!! It was a wonderful treat to see Annerose Carlile at the East Mohave ride escaping the snow!! If ever you get a chance, you might consider doing this January set of rides.
