[RC] Home and healing...thank you! - John & Sue GreenallI want to thank all of you for your concerns and good wishes after my fall at the Mustang Memorial ride. Being rolled by a horse sure hurts! Without doubt, my helmet saved my life. I have always been a helmet advocate, but after this, even more so. The scarey thing about my accident was that the horses were going along smoothly, no one was fooling around, the footing was perfect and nothing spooked the horse. He simply misjudged his stride and over we went. I remember nothing of the fall or the hospital (even missed the helicopter ride, darn). So I don't recall Kathy Brunges giving me mouth to mouth recessitation or Steve Rojek telling me jokes to get my mind off of the pain or volunteers from the ride getting me off the trail. To these people I cannot thank you enough! And to all of you who called or sent cards or e-mailed, your thoughts certainly helped me through this. Thank you, you guys are the best.
