may have ulcers. my horse had the same probelm and i started giving him maalox
prior to trailering/training and his appetite picked back up to his ravenous
normal self. talk to your vet about it. i also used neiglox with good results.
think many horses in our sport may have ulcers.

During the competitive season my horse's appetite
decreases. She's in good health, wormed, teeth done etc. however gets
caught up with the excitement of competition. Does anyone have any
suggestions or use anything that stimulates
appetite?
