Re: [RC] Appetite stimulation - heidi

During the competitive season my horse's appetite decreases.  She's in
good health, wormed, teeth done etc. however gets caught up with the
excitement of competition.  Does anyone have any suggestions or use
anything that stimulates appetite?


When she loses her appetite, I'd sure get her checked for ulcers.  With or
without ulcers, it sounds like she needs to learn to relax--lots of slow
riding, camping out without competing, etc.

B-complex vitamins sometimes help, but are not a cure-all.
