For many years my horses and I lived a few miles downwind of what was then the world's largest nuclear power plant, and I was happy it was there! I had a good friend who worked in the plant, part of her job was to make sure the cooling water didn't harm the river. It's a pipe dream to think we're going to all live on solar, wind, alcohol, etc. in our lifetimes. Every new nuclear plant would be one less fossil-fuel plant poisoning us all, but people who say they want a clean environment fight nuclear plants! 'tis a puzzlement. -- Joe Long jlong@xxxxxxxx http://www.rnbw.com =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
